It's quite simply a combination of a conventional sock and a slipper! And the added bonus?

They are made with more or less plenty of rubber sticky dots, allowing you to get a good grip on the floor.

Our washing instructions: machine wash, turning socks inside out, wash at maximum 30°C and do not use a bleaching product. To preserve the grip of sticky silicone dots, it is preferable to handwash them.

THE BENEFITS OF THESE TYPES OF SOCKS

As its name suggests, the main function of these grip socks is to prevent you from slipping when walking or running on a slippery floor. For example, this is the case with wooden or tiled floors in your house. In essence, thanks to these, you will avoid a major fall and keep your little toes nice and warm!~Some tend to do yoga or Pilates barefoot to get a good feel for the floor. The problem? Gym mats or studio flooring are often unstable. By using grip socks, you maintain your posture and remain focused on movements. Perfect for doing the downward dog without the risk of falling!

Make cotton grip socks your first choice. On top of being soft and comfortable to wear, this fabric offers good ventilation and moisture transfer. Your feet remain dry throughout your session. Our models are also made of elastane, ensuring the sock offers greater flexibility.

THE NUMBER OF STICKY DOTS

For your comfort and safety, opt for grip socks with multiple sticky dots. The higher the number of rubber dots, the greater the grip you will have. And the less there are, the more you risk slipping!

THE SHAPE

There are, in general, three types of grip socks:

- The basic model that looks like a conventional sock.~- The "5-toe" model individually fits on each toe. These funny looking yoga socks snugly fit the natural shape of your foot. Your toes can move freely.~- The "ballerina" model offers greater support thanks to its elasticated band over the bridge of the foot.

It's up to you to choose what type of grip socks best suits you!

WHEN SHOULD YOU WEAR GRIP SOCKS?

FOR YOGA OR PILATES

Contrary to popular belief, this type of sock wear is not only intended for children or little ones learning to stand up without falling. Women's and men's grip sock are available to do sport and using at home.~We recommend wearing grip socks for wellness activities: yoga, Pilates, gentle gym, stretching, etc. Thanks to their grip, you'll gain in dexterity and sensitivity. Your postures are easier to perform, you get a better feel for footing, and you are not afraid of falling.

Decathlon advice: please note, Pilates socks are not trampolining socks! Avoid using them for this discipline otherwise, you risk quickly ruining them.
