ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

DESIGN
The 730 judo uniform is made from 100% cotton fabric and complies with all international judo competition standards. This uniform features a rice-grain weave (730 g/sqm) that is highly resistant to gripping for durability.
CHOOSING YOUR JUDO UNIFORM
Judo is a combat sport that uses grappling techniques. The young judoka has to grab their opponent's uniform when attempting to throw them to the ground, and possibly immobilize them. This is why the uniform must be particularly tear resistant, with reinforced sections in areas of strain or friction.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Your height will determine the size of your uniform (from 160 cm to 200 cm). In keeping with tradition, the uniforms are made from cotton and have a natural tendency to shrink a few centimetres during the first three washes. This is why we recommend choosing a uniform which is at least 5 cm bigger than your height. For example, if you are 174 cm, chose a 180 cm uniform.
WHICH UNIFORM FOR WHICH LEVEL?
A judoka who competes should choose a very durable uniform with thicker fabric to prevent his opponent from gripping (kumi kata).
CARE ADVICE
The uniform should be left out to air after each use. Regular washing will help keep your uniform white. Use cold water for the first few washes. After that, wash at no more warmer 30°C.
THE BENEFITS OF JUDO
Judo is a very physical sport: The aim is to control your opponent's body. This sport is also a form of psychological training. It relaxes the body and mind. The word "judo" even means "gentle way".

    Living with Outshock 730 Judogi

This is excellent value for money. A good quality suit at a very low price. Its size was as expected after it shrunk and fitted me well after washing, although the trousers were a little long for me because I have short legs compared to my body length. Care with washing and drying is needed - do not use a tumble dryer as the suit is 100% cotton. It takes a long time to dry is it's the only drawback. It is comfortable and performs as well as many more expensive suits.

    185cm 730g/m2 Judo Gi

I bought two suits. Shrinkage after several washes is as exactly as described. I'm 5'10" and my son is 5'9". We are both 100kg + with broad shoulders and most jackets come up small. These Gi's are an excellent fit with plenty of material around the chest/waist. Trousers have now shrunk to the ankle - approx. 5cm.
