How to adjust your skipping rope
Remove the end of the handle. To determine the right length for your skipping rope, place your foot in the middle of the rope and lift the handles up either side of your body. For beginners, or to be more comfortable, the handles should come up to your shoulders. For advanced users, the rope can be shorter, coming up to the bottom of your ribs or your navel. Cut off the extra rope, do not put it back inside the handle.
Advantages of skipping ropes
Skipping is an effective way of burning calories, losing weight, slimming your figure and even having a flat tummy. It is a simple, all-round exercise that improves balance and encourages good posture. Skipping works the lower-body muscles while toning your arms, shoulders, back and abs. With the right technique, this sport can boost endurance.
Enjoy skipping without the risk of injury
Correct technique involves jumping with your stomach tight, contracting the abdominal muscles; your pelvis should be well tucked in to avoid arching your back (which can cause back pain and injury). For beginners, to improve jumping and balance, we recommend doing 2 jumps for each rotation of the skipping rope: alternate twice on the right foot, then twice on the left foot. We strongly recommend wearing trainers to cushion impacts.
Burning energy
15 minutes of skipping is the equivalent of 30 minutes of jogging. 1 hour of skipping burns up to 725 calories!

3 euros la corde de bonne qualité

Après mes déboires sur les cordes Iron Gym à 10 balles qui, malgré un échange, ne m'ont jamais satisfaites (les deux que j'ai eu on cassées après seulement 2 ou 3 utilisations et la deuxième avait un problème de roulement. Ils étaient grippés. Pas top pour une corde à sauter), je me suis rediriger vers une corde moins chère, en me disant qu'elle me servira le temps que je puisse investir dans une VRAIE corde. Mais au final, après de multiples utilisations, la corde ne bouge pas. Elle n'est pas réglable en hauteur, les poignées ne sont pas en caoutchouc ou quoi. C'est une corde brut de décoffrage, mais qui est clairement de bonne qualité.
Cependant, je pense qu'elle n'est pas fait pour l'extérieur, dans des endroits autres que du gazon. Le cable en PVC de la corde s'userai sur du bitume par exemple.

Mais mis à part cet détail, je recommande franchement ce produit qui, pour 3 euros, est clairement de bonne qualité et tiens la route.
Pas besoin d'investir dans des cordes à 20 euros, quand une corde à 3 fait le même boulot.

Corde à sauter

Corde à sauté certes pas cher, mais qui casse très rapidement, que ce soit au niveau de la corde (j'en ai une qui c'est coupé en son centre, et deux au niveau des poignées), mais aussi au niveau des poignés (une qui a cassé).

Cette corde à sauter est destinée à un usage occasionnel 1 à 2 fois par semaine, pour un pratiquant débutant. La durée de vie peut en effet être limitée en fonction de l'utilisation qui en est faite.
Sachez toutefois que tous nos produits sont garantis deux ans, vous avez donc la possibilité de procéder à un échange ou un remboursement auprès de votre magasin Decathlon.
Par ailleurs, nous travaillons actuellement sur le développement d'une nouvelle corde à sauter destinée à un usage plus intensif en intérieur et également en extérieur, l'arrivée en magasin est prévue courant 2017. J'espère que ce nouveau produit vous apportera entière satisfaction.

Can you please tell us more about the quality issue that you faced as we need to seriously revert about it to the production team? It's a very basic skipping rope, for the beginners.     Fantastica per cominciare, costa talmente poco che vale la pena tentare! Dopo aver fatto un po' di pratica devo dire che la corda in materiale plastico è più comoda di quella in tessuto intrecciato e le manopole di diametro sottile sono ideali per un buon controllo, meglio di quelle più spesse che si vedono in giro normalmente addirittura!
